Welcome, traveler! You’ve made it to the wonderful world of pixel horses and stunning livestock - we’re thrilled to have you along for the adventure. Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Join Our Discord

Click the link below to join our Discord community. Once there, all players must fill out our whitelist form to gain access to the server. While you wait for manual verification by a staff member, feel free to explore the Discord and the rest of our website. Please ensure you have your Minecraft Java username and not your Microsoft username. You can view this by opening your Minecraft launcher and viewing the displayed name in the bottom right.

Step 2: Installing our CurseForge profile

Our server uses a custom modpack that's been uploaded to CurseForge to make it easier for users to download.

You can find our modpack profile via direct link here:

Alternatively, you can type in "Canterlands" into the Minecraft Project search bar located at the top of your screen.

Click "install" and wait for the modpack to install. After this, you can simply click "play". The downloaded modpack contains all mods, configurations, and client-side mods. You may add/remove client-side mods however, we will not offer any support for altered modpacks.

RAM is automatically allocated at 6gb, you may need more depending on any modpack customizations, shaders, etc. You can allocate more by going into "Settings", "Minecraft", and then adjusting the "Allocated Memory" slider.

Step 3: Join & Play!

Once onto the Minecraft menu, click “Play” and it'll directly connect you to our server. Once loading in, open your resourcepacks folder and ensure “Asheerah x MrFear x Lilzibunn33” is enabled - this is an edited version of the “Asheerah x MrFear” pack (with permission). It allows extra cubes (eg. additional manes or breed specific model traits) to be viewed.

 

 

Complete our starter quiz by stepping on the pressure plate in front of your spawn, make sure you've read the site in detail in order to complete the questions. After you've completed this, exit the quiz house and you'll be given a Quest Book. Teleport using the NPC at the end of the docks to return to our main spawn (Iron Hoof), use your Quest Book in order to complete our starter questline - make sure you read the book and all NPC dialog, these tell you the essentials! Quests are LOCATION BASED, if they aren't triggering, walk around the area a little. Don't forget to check out our FAQ for more information! If you're stuck, don't hesitate to ask on our Discord.
