- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old (for moderator) and 16 years old (for builder) at the time of application. No exceptions, and lying about your age will result in immediate removal from the position.
- Activity & Engagement: Stay active both in-game and on our Discord server. Help players with questions and forward concerns to the owners when needed.
- Event Hosting: Staff must host at least one event per month. Plan ahead to avoid event overlap and consult the calendar.
- Experience: Prior moderation experience is recommended, along with familiarity with GriefProtector, World Edit, and our FTB mods. Be prepared to learn and stay updated.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude in-game and on Discord. Be friendly, but know when to focus on your duties. Set a positive example and abide by all rules.
Volunteer Agreement
Scope of Work:
- Design and construction of builds in digital environments or platforms.
- Creation and customization of mods and addons.
- Development of custom code or programming solutions as needed.
Work for Hire Acknowledgment:
The Work created under this Agreement is a "work made for hire" as defined under 17 U.S.C. ยง 101 of the U.S. Copyright Act.
The Commissioning Party, Canterlands LLC, shall own all right, title, and interest in and to the Work upon creation.
Transfer of Rights:
- In the event that the Work is not deemed a "work for hire" under applicable law, Volunteer hereby irrevocably assigns and transfers to Canterlands LLC all rights, title, and interest in and to the Work.
- This includes all copyrights and other intellectual property rights.
Compensation:
The Volunteer acknowledges that they are providing their services and the Work without expectation of financial compensation or benefits.
However, Canterlands LLC may provide compensation in the form of in-game rewards or other non-monetary benefits as deemed appropriate.
Warranties and Representations:
- The Volunteer represents that the Work is original and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
- The Volunteer has full authority to enter into this Agreement and transfer ownership rights.
- The Work has not been and will not be sold, licensed, or otherwise transferred to any third party.
Independent Contractor Status:
Nothing in this Agreement shall create an employer-employee relationship.
The Volunteer is an independent party and is solely responsible for any obligations associated with their voluntary work.
Confidentiality:
The Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information provided by Canterlands LLC.
