General Duties
 

  • Support the server with producing quality builds.
  • Assist players with World Edit and general building.
  • Promote a positive and welcoming environment for everyone who joins.

These points outline general expectations, though additional duties may apply depending on the situation. 

Please use our ISO channel on Discord if you are looking for a larger build, please note however that this is never a guarantee. Builders may accept small world edit requests in our tickets channel! 

Notes:

Please note that our builders follow a list of rules & regulations to protect the server's economy while also ensuring players have access to things like world edit. Please assume the following if requesting a builder or moderator:

Builders Cannot:

  • Place items of value down for players, including in builds (eg. diamond blocks
  • Place down blacklisted items (eg. carrot boxes) due to glitches or potential exploits
  • Place items for the player to mine for resources or immediately take (eg. placing a row of wood logs, placing a row of juhara's items)
  • World Edit areas with Armorer's Workshop items (as this causes a glitch which may result in the loss of properties), please remove all AW items before asking a builder to work on your land
  • Ensure the safety of animals when completing tasks on your property (ensure all animals are suitably moved away or packed into mob balls if needed, always notify a builder in case)
  • World Edit areas with chests containing items (please inform a builder if this is the case before starting, you can either remove items from the chest before they start or the builder can destroy the duplicated chests after)
  • World Edit in any form of stall items/care (shavings, spigots, water troughs, enrichment, etc) - some of these items can cause a crash/horses to glitch
  • Edit or create farms (farms referring to farmland, any area with any form of crop). This includes: placing soil/tilled land, placing water, world editing holes for water, placing lights in or around the farm, placing blocks over the farm, copy/pasting the farm.

    This is an example of SOME of the things that are prohibited, we cannot predict any scenario. Our builders always have final say in whether they perform a task for a player - if in doubt, they will double check with us first.

Our builders play an essential role in maintaining a safe, active, and enjoyable community.

While staff receive certain perks (such as increased animal caps and store credit) their position is still considered volunteering.

All staff members strive to encourage positivity and uphold the best in our community.
Please do not argue with or disrespect our hardworking staff team.

Additionally, please avoid directly messaging staff members for questions or concerns that can be addressed in a ticket or in the questions channel on Discord.

Typical Availability: Typically between 8pm-12am MST on weekdays, often have more availability on weekends
World Edit: Comfortable with custom terrain and various advanced commands

Build Information
Preferred Style: Rustic (palates that use lots of wood), western, medieval
Building Strengths: Equine based builds, Interiors, detailing, old western-type builds, roofs, terrain
Building Weaknesses: Modern builds, XL builds (unless given XLLL time frame - because procrastination), castles, Japanese/eastern styled builds, steampunk, diagonal builds

Additional Build Information:
I have a special love for building & decorating arenas, barns and stables!

Brief Bio:
Hi I’m Rose! I’ve been a builder with Canterlands since December 2024 and have been helping with server coats since the summer of 2025! When I’m not online with my pixel ponies I can be found with my IRL pony Texas!

Typical Availability: Typically you'll see me on in the evenings though I do tend to hop on after my college classes but I'm mainly active like 1pm-3pm and 6pm-10pm
World Edit: Comfortable with c/p, replacing blocks, flattening areas

Preferred Style: Rustic, Fantasy, cottage core, old Italian style
Building Strengths: Equine builds, houses, detailing, paths, interiors
Building Weaknesses: Modern builds, Roofs, steampunk, solarpunk (I do want to try this style out more), XXL builds

Additional Build Information:
I love building, I've been playing Minecraft since it came out on X-box 360. I always loved the building aspects, and you can always find me trying out new styles or even practicing refining my skills!

Brief Bio:
The names Jax though most know me by my gamertag Seji! I've played so many swem servers including Peachy's and JD's old 18.2 server. If you don't find me playing Minecraft, I'm probably playing other games. I'm a big sucker for Ark and horror games. You can always find me at college working hard towards my criminal justice degree!

Typical Availability: Depends on the week, but generally on at least in the evenings everyday, but changes weekly due to my procrastination of uni assessments
World Edit: I am quite comfortable with world edit, I LOVE building custom terrain with it, although there are a few things that I still need to learn (like curve and such)

Build Information
Preferred Style: Fantasy, medieval, cottage core, western
Building Strengths: Castles, custom terrain, layouts, XXXL builds, easy to copy patterns in builds (eg. same wall design over and over)
Building Weaknesses: Houses, interior decorating (although it is getting better), trees (I cannot build a tree to save my life), roofs with weird shaped bases

Additional Build Information:
I am always working on new things, and I definitely missed quite a few of my strengths and weaknesses. I love trying new styles, although for personal builds I stick to the same sort of style. I work best from detail descriptions or multi-picture examples.

Brief Bio:
Hi I'm Mayo, one thing to know about me is that I struggle to talk about myself. I have been playing Minecraft since roughly 2013, but have had quite a few breaks since then. I am currently studying at University (technically a University College, but oh well) to gain a Bachelors in Animation. I ride IRL, and lease a very pretty (and rather rotund) Friesian cross Welsh Cob mare called Rappy, I do have a custom coat of her on the server, and I just love her to pieces. I do also own a cat, Elsiee, although she is a rather small cat, is quite a menace and is also being the reason my PC now has bottle caps taped over my power buttons.

I am a stay at home mom with 2 boys. I used to work in IT (Information Technology) before my last child. We've 2 rabbits named Magic and Nibbler. I love gaming, we are a family who loves to game! Been playing Minecraft since it came out.
